The north eastern part of India is a haven for certain species of Hornbills which are threatened due to hunting and habitat loss. The Hornbill Nest Adoption Program (HNAP), is doing really amazing work for the conservation of Hornbills by involving the surrounding communities in monitoring and protecting the Hornbill nests.

Art for Hornbills is my way of supporting this project and bringing more awareness to it. I will be painting many more Hornbills in the next few months and we hope to have all of these pieces for sale at an art show in Bangalore towards the end of the year. They will also be available online during the art show. The profits generated from all sales will directly benefit HNAP.
